Dr. Yangyi Lu has been promoted to Principal Investigator at Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, after serving as Senior Scientist (Shenzhen Bay Fellow) from 2022 to 2024.
He has also been appointed as a SMART Fellow at the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation (SMART).
Dr. Lu joined SZBL in 2021 as a postdoctoral fellow working with Prof. Jiali Gao. During his time at SZBL, he has led the development of multistate density functional theory and published extensively in top journals.
